Shipping Policy

1. Overview

At International Automotive Association, we offer both digital and physical delivery options for your International Driving Permit. Your digital IDP is available instantly upon application approval. Physical items (printed booklet and plastic ID card) are shipped to your designated mailing address.

We ship worldwide to most countries. Shipping is handled through our logistics partners to ensure timely and secure delivery of your IDP documents.

2. Digital Delivery

Instant Digital Access

Your digital IDP is available immediately after your application is approved. You will receive:

  • A downloadable PDF copy of your IDP sent to your email
  • Access to your digital IDP through your online account
  • A digital copy of your English ID Card for language assistance

3. Shipping Timeframes

Physical delivery timeframes vary by destination. Below are our estimated delivery windows:

Standard shipping is included at no extra cost with all Print + Digital plans. Express shipping is available as an optional upgrade during checkout for faster delivery (3-5 business days to most destinations).

5. Order Tracking

All physical shipments include tracking. Here's how to track your order:

6. Delayed or Lost Shipments

We understand the importance of receiving your IDP on time for your travels. If your shipment is delayed or lost:

  • Delayed Shipments: If your package has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, first check your tracking number. If the tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, contact our support team.
  • Lost Shipments: If your tracking shows delivery but you have not received the package, first check with neighbors, building management, or your local post office. If the package is confirmed lost, we will reship your IDP at no additional cost.
  • Incorrect Address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. IAA is not responsible for shipments delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment (additional shipping fees may apply).
  • Customs Delays: International shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures that can cause delays beyond our estimated delivery times. Any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

7. Multiple Items and Combined Shipping

If you order multiple IDPs or additional products, we will combine them into a single shipment whenever possible to minimize shipping costs and environmental impact. If items cannot be combined due to timing or size constraints, we will notify you before processing.
